1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QCET® (Qualifying Common Employability Test) services provided by Graduate Employability Forum (GEF), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

QCET® is a national-level graduate employability test that provides:

  • Standardized assessment of employability skills
  • Score generation and sharing with authorized employers
  • Access to job opportunities through partner employers
  • Online examination platform and proctoring services
  • Support services and communication

3. Eligibility and Registration

3.1 Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for QCET®, you must:

  • Be a final-year or pre-final-year student, or recent graduate (within 2 years)
  • Be enrolled in or graduated from an Indian college providing degree programs
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Meet any additional requirements specified by GEF

3.2 Registration Process

Registration is subject to verification of eligibility criteria. GEF reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet the requirements.

4. Examination Rules and Conduct

4.1 Examination Integrity

All candidates must:

  • Maintain academic integrity throughout the examination
  • Not engage in any form of cheating, plagiarism, or misconduct
  • Follow all proctoring guidelines and instructions
  • Ensure a suitable examination environment
  • Use only authorized materials and devices

4.2 Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Using unauthorized assistance or materials
  • Sharing examination content with others
  • Attempting to hack or compromise the examination system
  • Impersonating another candidate
  • Violating any technical requirements

5. Scores and Results

5.1 Score Generation

QCET® scores are:

  • Generated using standardized assessment criteria
  • Provided within 48 hours of examination completion
  • Valid for a period specified by GEF
  • Non-transferable and non-refundable

5.2 Score Sharing

By participating in QCET®, you consent to the sharing of your scores with authorized employers and educational institutions for recruitment and research purposes.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of QCET® services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Report any security breaches or suspicious activities

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, materials, and intellectual property related to QCET® including but not limited to:

  • Examination questions and content
  • Software and platform technology
  • Branding and trademarks
  • Assessment methodologies
  • Research and analytics

are owned by GEF and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

GEF shall not be liable for:

  • Technical failures or system downtime
  • Loss of data or examination progress
  • Employment outcomes or job placements
  • Third-party actions or decisions
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

The total liability of GEF shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the service.

9. Termination and Suspension

9.1 Grounds for Termination

GEF may terminate or suspend your access to QCET® services for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Use
  • Academic misconduct or cheating
  • Providing false information
  • Abuse of the platform or services
  • Non-compliance with examination rules

9.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and GEF may delete your account and related data.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of QCET® services shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiations between the parties
  • Mediation by a mutually agreed mediator
  • Arbitration in accordance with Indian Arbitration laws
  • Jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India

11. Modifications to Terms

GEF reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
